The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission determined that Vietnamese enterprises did not commit dumping, the Vietnamese Government did not subsidize and interfere in the precision steel pipe manufacturing industry.
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) has issued an official notice on the termination of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on precision steel pipes of Vietnam and Taiwan.
Based on the notice of ADC, this agency has determined that Vietnamese enterprises do not have dumping practices, the Vietnamese Government does not subsidize and interfere in the precision steel pipe manufacturing industry.
Meanwhile, ADC continues to investigate Chinese and Korean enterprises; expected to report the results of the investigation to the Australian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology for a final decision in August 2021.
According to the Trade Remedies Administration (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the above results reflect the efforts of Vietnamese exporters in providing complete and timely information at the request of the Australian investigation agency. as well as the coordination and support of the authorities in the process of handling the case to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese enterprises.
Previously, on March 31, 2021, ADC announced to initiate an anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigation on steel pipes and pipes originating from Vietnam, China, Korea and Taiwan. .
