The verification results of the Ministry of Industry and Trade showed that there was no official notice from the Chinese side about stopping customs clearance at Tan Thanh – Po Chai. However, after the appearance of a number of Covid-19 cases related to long-distance drivers carrying export goods through Tan Thanh border gate area, the Guangxi border gate authority (China) temporarily stopped customs operations.

The suspension is to review and agree with Lang Son on measures to enhance the process of goods delivery and receipt through Tan Thanh area with the goal of ensuring smooth and safe circulation of import and export goods. for epidemic prevention work between the two sides.
