Indonesian coal
Indonesian coal plays an important role in the balance of energy and fuel prices in Asian countries. With top quality coal and accounting for about 2.2% of the total global coal reserves, Indonesia is one of the largest coal producers and suppliers in the world.
Indonesian coal is the type of coal imported directly from Indonesia into our country, in recent years, the proportion of Indonesian coal has always had a high position in the coal import-export industry in Vietnam, with 50 to 53.3% / 1 year. The remaining amount of coal is imported mainly from Russia and Australia.
Russian coal
Russian coal is a very abundant source of coal that contributes an important energy to the world. Russia is the country with the third coal reserves and the 6th largest coal miner and producer in the world (accounting for 4.5% of the global coal mining output).
With such a huge coal reserve, Russia is expected to take more than 300 years to fully exploit and certainly a long-term source of imported coal from other countries, including Vietnam. However, most of Russia's coal reserves are not scattered but concentrated in coal pools in the Kuznetsk and Kansk-Achinsk regions.
