Vietnam Coal and Minerals Group is allowed to export a maximum of 2 million tons of lump coal of all kinds and coal bran 1,2,3; Dong Bac Corporation is allowed to export coal of all kinds with a maximum of 30,000 tons.
Following the direction of Prime Minister Le Van Thanh, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Official Letter No. 887/BCT-DKT directing the Vietnam Coal-Mineral Industry Group and the Northeast Corporation on the organization of implementation. export coal of all kinds and coal 1, 2, 3 in 2022 according to the plan approved by the Prime Minister.
Specifically, Vietnam Coal and Minerals Group, the total volume of coal of all kinds and coal bran 1,2,3 for export is maximum 2 million tons; in which, lump coal of all kinds is 800,000 tons and bran coal 1,2,3 is 1.2 million tons.
In addition, with the Northeast Corporation, the total volume of exported coal of all kinds is 30,000 tons.
The official dispatch also clearly stated the full absorption of opinions from the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, National Defense, the Committee for State Capital at Enterprises and the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province.
Accordingly, the units are fully responsible for coal export, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Article 14 of Decree No. 17/2020/ND-CP dated February 5, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing a a number of articles of the Decrees related to business investment conditions in the field of state management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other relevant laws.
In addition, the implementation must be consistent with the viewpoint and development orientation of Vietnam’s coal industry approved by the Prime Minister and does not affect the source of raw materials for domestic consumption and production. ; higher economic efficiency than domestic consumption and maximize economic benefits for the state and enterprises./.
