China is the main market supplying iron and steel products to Vietnam, imports from this market alone accounted for 60% of the country’s total import turnover of iron and steel products, reaching nearly US$2.07 billion. , up 51.3% over the same period in 2020; Particularly in August 2021, the turnover reached 266.2 billion USD, down 12.2% compared to July 2021 but up 17.2% compared to August 2020.
Behind the main market of China is the Korean market, accounting for 13%, reaching nearly 452.23 million USD, down 12.7%; Particularly in August 2021, it reached 63.39 million USD, down 12.3% compared to July 2021 but up 9.6% compared to August 2020.
Next is the Japanese market in August 2021, down 10.5% compared to July 2021 but up 8% compared to August 2020, reaching 41.77 million USD; for the whole first 8 months of 2021, an increase of 20% over the same period, reaching over USD 369.91 million, accounting for 10.7%.
